Account manager

MCS Advertising is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team. As an integral part of our agency, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded. 

The individual who fills this position must be driven and exemplify strong leadership qualities, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle stress well, multitask, and fit into the agency’s established culture. The position is designed for someone with prior client marketing and management experience, so the ideal candidate will come in hungry for opportunity and willing to put in the work for it.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering positive and lasting relationships.
  • Understand each client’s business objectives, challenges, and industry landscape to provide strategic guidance and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, production, and strategy, to develop and execute client campaigns and projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and expansion, working closely with clients to present new ideas and recommendations.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports and analysis to clients, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Act as an advocate for the client within the agency, ensuring their needs and goals are always top of mind.
  • Stay up to date on industry strategy and best practices to continually enhance client service and campaign effectiveness.
  • Handle any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally, seeking resolution to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to new business efforts, including proposal development, pitches, and presentations, as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in account management or a similar client-facing role within an advertising, marketing, or creative agency environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results and driving client satisfaction.
  • Excellent project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to client service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat and project management tools.
  • A passion for creativity, marketing, and advertising, with a desire to stay informed about industry trends and innovations.
  • Ability to work full-time and in person at our office location, collaborating effectively with team members and clients on-site.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license as occasional travel to client meetings is required.
